7. Procedures.a. Seating. Eighty seats will be reserved and appropriately marked formembers of the news media in the first four rows of general seating in front of themain podium where the dedication ceremony will be held.b. Coverage Areas. Two roped-off areas will be established as specified in TabA, marked for use by press only, and be equipped for use by radio (press area two)and still/video photographers (press areas one and two). Each roped-off area willcontain a tier for elevated angles of coverage, 100-amp electrical outlets fortelevision camera use and hydraulic mechanic stands (press areas one and two) forelevation purposes. Press area two will have the capability to allow taping of theproceedings.c. Pooling. In the event that certain functions planned in conjunction with thededication cannot accommodate all reporters present (e.g., the memorial service orthe luncheon at the Officers Club), a pool of representatives will be chosen by thenews media or other appropriate authority.d Security. All reporters, except those specially designated, will be requiredto check into the CIBNAM where they will register and receive a press pass andautomobile pass. Those holding specially designated cards will have access to allareas designated for press. Press passes will include the name, address andorganization affiliation of reporters.8. Services for Mediaa. Press Kits. To provide members of the media at the dedication site withinformation pertinent to the dedication of the Naval Aviation Museum, a press kitpublished by CNET PAO will include the following:(1)(2)(3)(4)Schedule of formal activities relating to the dedication.Fact sheet on the museum, its background and plans for expansion.Fact sheet on planes on exhibit at the museum.Reproduction of the floor plan of the museum showing location ofvarious planes.(5) Various feature stories.AIII-3
